Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Not in the tourist centre — The hotel is in a residential area, which some guests felt was away from the main attractions, though public transport is close.
  • Dated facilities — Some guests noted the hotel shows its age, with older fixtures like faucets, though they added that everything functioned after minor fixes.
  • Possible aircraft noise — Given Lisbon's airport proximity, some guests heard plane noise, though this is not the hotel's fault.

“The service here is very good.”

“We stayed in a single room and it was modern.”

8.4Verified guest

“We were a bit hesitant after reading earlier comments, but although the hotel is dated, it works well. The staff are correct and competent. Parking is available in the hotel itself for 15 euros a night. One faucet initially didn't deliver water, but after reporting it to reception, the operator arrived in five minutes and fixed it - it just needed a couple more turns. Excellent value for money, and you pay on arrival.”

8.4Verified guest

“The hotel has fair characteristics but with positives. Staff at reception and breakfast are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is quite good with variety, both salty and sweet. If you just want to sleep, it's fine. The location initially feels a bit out of the way, but within 5-10 minutes on foot you reach the Rato (closer) and Marques de Pombal metro stops, plus nearby bus stops. It's a city centre, but not the tourist heart. There are good dinner restaurants nearby, like the one in Campania, 3 minutes away, and La em Casa under the hotel.”

8.4Verified guest

“I booked a decent-sized room, and the service was very good. Breakfast included ham and other items, which was excellent.”

8.4Verified guest

“After reading other opinions, I was worried, but it's decent - not a 10, but a 6.5. It's in a quiet area, not exactly the centre, but easy to reach on foot or by public transport. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with bread, cereals, pastries, fruit, coffee, juices, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, etc. The family room was bigger than expected and cleaned daily. You can hear planes, but that's not the hotel's fault - the airport is close. Staff weren't the friendliest, but did their job.”
